It's easy to get lost at Tangletown Gardens, and that's a good thing. The center seems to stretch on and on, with new garden wonders around every corner. The goal of any great store is to fuel the imagination, and just a few minutes at Tangletown spurs fresh plans for the back garden or the front yard. The vast majority of the more than 3,000 perennials, along with annuals and heirloom vegetables, are grown at Tangletown's greenhouse in Plato. That's also where Tangletown's CSA produce comes from, providing high-quality vegetables and herbs throughout summer and fall. (The same produce is used for the adjacent Wise Acre restaurant and is sold inside the center.) Owners Dean Engelmann and Scott Endres and the expert staff are dedicated to providing a full experience and ready to offer suggestions once you've found the perfect inspiration inside, or outside, the store.
