Doomtree became a rap institution in the Twin Cities on the strength of their potent live shows. The yearly Blowouts expanded every year, and culminated in 2014 with Blowout X. To end the cycle, they put on 10 different events over eight days in December. Overkill? No way. Doomtree's live shows consistently exceed the hype with surprise guests, collaborations, and the swagger of the wings and teeth in the audience. In addition to touring relentlessly on their new record, All Hands, the crew are working on their next chapter of local live dominance. A Doomtree festival wouldn't be too hard to imagine.
