Best Way to Get Flipped the Bird

Attempting the Zipper Merge

There’s a name for the appropriate way to blend several lanes of traffic into fewer lanes of traffic. It’s called the zipper merge, and it’s scientifically proven to be the safest, most efficient way to funnel cars into neat little lines. But try telling that to a Minnesotan. A true North Star State driver cannot fathom budging in a line of cars, efficiency be damned. Though polite-to-death is the Minnesota way, you might actually see a middle finger if you attempt the zipper merge in this land of 10,000 niceties. At the very least, you’ll be denied a single inch of merging room, which means you’ll have time to reflect upon your sins as you idle by the wayside.
