This one’s easy. In her MVP-winning third season with the team, Sylvia Fowles led the Lynx to their fourth championship in seven seasons and WNBA-record sixth Finals appearance. Fowles, 32, finished top five in the league in scoring, rebounds, and blocks, plus she led the league in field goal percentage for the fifth time. The 6-foot-6 center continued to deliver during the playoffs, too, posting a double-double in all five Finals games, including 17 points, 20 rebounds, and 3 blocks in Game 5. Fowles was named Finals MVP, a fitting cap to one of the most dominating seasons from a low-post player in WNBA history.
