The French-Brazilian fare (spicy braised beef sandwiches, chicken dumplings shaped like a Pope’s hat, and bison tartare with dijon and a raw quail egg) comes by way of a truly committed farm-to-table philosophy. Chef Fernando de Silvia and his staff own and run a small farm in Lakeville, Minnesota where they grow beans, herbs, tomatoes, and a number of other ingredients used by the restaurant. The tucked away, lake-adjacent neighborhood of Linden Hilla is a major draw for foodies, but Harriet Brasserie is not just a back-up for when Tilia is busy. Their vegetarian-friendly brunch is outstanding, especially when enjoyed on the sunny front patio.
